A Miracle to teach a Miracle...

Last Sunday I was at my Boyfriend's church listening to the service. The Pastor made a comment on how when we grow into Spiritual maturity, we will depend on "our head", Jesus Christ to perfect us and make us more like Him.

While thinking about this, I wanted to know how a baby develops in the womb and how I can relate that to Spiritual growth and living. Here it goes...

Month 1:
-Heartbeat detected.

Month 2:
-Heart, Lungs, and Kidneys have developed and are starting to grow.
-Head is growing faster than the rest of the body.

Month 3:
- If your child has made it this far, he or she will have a greater chance of living.

Month 4:
- Child can suck their thumb, curl their fingers and toes.
- Is developing hair and nails.
- Has soft hair to keep him or her at the right temperature.

Month 5:
- Develops muscle, ligament, and fat.
- Senses are developed.

Month 6:
- Senses light at darkness.
- Moves.

Month 7:
-Preparing life outside the womb through developing fat.
- Brain now regulates body temperature, nerve cells are developing.

Month 8:
-Organs are maturing.

Month 9:
- Introduced to the world.

Now, when it comes to developing in a Spiritual sense, we do all these things too. Our months may be longer, turned into years. A lot of the time, a couple of our months are switched around.. But not the first one of course. (:

Month 1:
-Heartbeat detected: Life is given to us from our Heavenly Father. One heartbeat stopped, to only start again three days later. One heartbeat carried our sin. That one heartbeat, gave us life.

Month 2:
-Heart, Lungs, and Kidneys have developed and are starting to grow: The Father's love is our constant reminder of how He gives us life (breath). In His love, He gives us a filter to live by (the Bible).
-Head is growing faster than the rest of the body: Faith begins to grow.

Month 3:
- If your child has made it this far, he or she will have a greater chance of living. (Rephrase) If you live by faith, you have a greater chance of a life that is worth living.

Month 4:
- Child can suck their thumb, curl their fingers and toes: You start to realize that it is by Him you move.
- Is developing hair and nails.
- Has soft hair to keep him or her at the right temperature: "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change." (James 1:17 ESV)

Month 5:
- Develops muscle, ligament, and fat: He provides the necessary things for you to be active in your faith, keep you together in the midst of adversity, and protected against unnecessary evils.
- Senses are developed: Your sense toward the Holy Spirit becomes more and more developed.

Month 6:
- Senses light and darkness: Because you are sensitive to the Holy Spirit, this is obvious. What God wants, or what you want. His will versus your own.
- Moves: You desire to move more and more in His will.

Month 7:
-Preparing life outside the womb through developing fat: He's your protector.
- Brain now regulates body temperature, nerve cells are developing: Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.(Colossians 3:2 ESV)

Month 8:
-Organs are maturing: You are becoming an "Oak of righteousness"
"to grant to those who mourn in Zion—
to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified."
(Isaiah 61:3 ESV)

Month 9:
- Introduced to the world: As a Man or Woman of God who loves the Lord with all their Heart, Soul, Strength, and Mind.

I hope you were as blown away as I was. To think, God could create a miracle to teach a miracle. (: Have a blessed week!
