Do you realize how true this really is when it comes to patience?
For instance, you made the commitment to stay pure until you're married.. That's awesome. You're doing well. It's been a year now and along comes Mr.Good. Oh boy, he's cute and he thinks you're cute and you sit next to each other at church every two weeks. BAM, he moves. Poor thing, now your heartbroken, and you don't think there could ever be another than Mr.Good. So what do you do? You renew your commitment to God. You now understand that a Holy, Perfect, God wants to be your everything. But wait, what's wrong with everyone? Why in the world do they look light deers in headlights?
Here comes Mr.Better. *sparkle dust* *spotlight* Comes right on up to you. "Oh my lanta.." Hey, uh, I say you yesterday. You were really pretty and I just wanted to let you know. (Then he flashes his pearly whites and walks off). You didn't say anything! Girl! What is your problem?! You just renewed your commitment to God! Two months later, you're dating. Much better than Mr.Good, but not exactly the best... You come to your senses, you and Mr.Better split up, and now you're heartbroken again. You've made your mistakes, and now you're before your heavenly Father who loves you.
You've put away your past now for several years. You are falling in love with your Savior more and more everyday. And now, here you are, living with your whole heart directed toward the one who loves you the most. All there's left to do is wait, wait for Mr.Best. (:
